Katy Sulhoff

Katy Sulhoff is a Gainesville, Georgia native, but has spent extensive time in the beautiful Black Hills at her family cabin since she was born. She is a high honors graduate from Brenau University with a B.A. in Mass Communications and a concentration in Broadcast. At Brenau, Katy was involved in several campus organizations including Cable 95, WBCX 89.1, The Alchemist newspaper, and she is a member of Alpha Delta Pi. As a senior, she was selected for the Senior Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Who's Who Among American College and Universities. The Brenau Mass Communications Department named her the Keystone Award recipient and she was voted Sister of the Year by her fellow ADPi members.
Previously, Katy interned at the International Desk on the newsroom floor at CNN and at Jacobs Media in Gainesville. At Jacobs Media, she also served as a news reporter for WDUN NewsTalk 550.
Currently, Katy is a General Assignment Reporter for Newscenter1.
