My family and I have lived here in Rapid City since 1999. My wife Linda was born here but my three kids, Todd, Teresa and Kathryn were all born in Texas and will always let you know they are Texans.

This is my second stay here in Rapid City. You see I graduated from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1973 with a Masters Degree in Meteorology. Linda's family lives here and we were married here in 1979 at the Chapel in the Hills.

I absolutely love the people here and the area and enjoy all it has to offer. I snow ski, play tennis, golf and fly fish when the weather allows.

I'm also involved in the community. I am a member of the Rapid City Air Quality Board, Chair the Salvation Army's Advisory Board and as an on-air personality I'm actively involved in a number charity groups including, Children's Miracle Network, American Lung Association, Heart Association and the Black Hills Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
